Prime Arena at Dublin Chamber’s “Building a Dublin that Works” Briefing
Matthew Tansey and Paula O’Donnell of Prime Arena were pleased to attend Dublin Chamber’s “Building a Dublin that Works” briefing at the Royal Marine Hotel, presented by Frank Curran, Chief Executive of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
The session provided valuable insights into recent developments across the local authority area, ongoing infrastructure progress, and the strategic vision for the future of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown. It was particularly positive to speak with Frank Curran, Cormac Devlin TD, Mary Rose Burke, CEO of Dublin Chamber, and Colette O’Sullivan, CEO of DLR Chamber, about Prime Arena’s continued progress and the role the project can play for the local community and economy — with placemaking and the night-time economy two important areas highlighted in the briefing.
There was also an interesting discussion with Helen Cole and James Hickson of Fáilte Ireland on the plan for Prime Arena to provide a much-needed venue for Dublin’s underserved conference, event and gala dinner market. Thank you to Dublin Chamber for hosting such a worthwhile and well-run event.
