Prime Arena at the Canadian Launch of Ireland’s International Sports Diplomacy Framework
Prime Arena was glad to attend the Canadian launch of Ireland’s International Sports Diplomacy Framework with Minister Neale Richmond in Montreal. Board Member Helen Work attended alongside fellow Prime Arena investor and NHL legend Pat Flatley, who spoke on a panel at the event.
It was particularly encouraging to hear Minister Richmond speak about Prime Arena and the early support he has shown the project. His ambition to bring Canadian ice hockey teams of all levels to Dublin highlights the growing opportunity for deeper sporting ties between Ireland and Canada. There were compelling comparisons drawn between the success of the recent NFL and US college football games in Dublin and the potential for Prime Arena to host similar high-impact international events — reinforcing the role sport can play in driving tourism, economic growth and international collaboration.
A strong showing for Prime Arena, with thanks to Pat Flatley, Helen Work, Dave Work, Minister Neale Richmond and Ambassador John Concannon for their continued support and advocacy.
