Prime Arena Receives Endorsement from Fáilte Ireland and ITIC

A major milestone for Prime Arena. We’re delighted to announce that both Fáilte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority, and the Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) have officially endorsed Prime Arena as a cornerstone project for Irish tourism and events.

Fáilte Ireland described Prime Arena as a “valuable catalyst” for Dublin’s visitor economy, supporting national tourism goals and helping to drive high-value leisure and business travel.

ITIC recognised it as “a strategic national tourism investment” fully aligned with Project Ireland 2040 and Ireland’s Business Events Strategy 2030.

Prime Arena is envisioned as a transformational venue for Irish sport, culture, and tourism. Featuring two Olympic-sized ice rinks, a 5,000+ seat event arena and an on-site hotel, it will be Ireland’s first permanent winter sports and entertainment facility. With support from leading tourism and business event authorities, the project aims to establish Dublin as a global destination for major conferences, sporting exhibitions, and year-round cultural showcases. This endorsement signals strong confidence in the arena’s ability to attract international visitors, drive economic growth and strengthen Ireland’s reputation as a hub for business and leisure travel.
