The proposed €190m, 6,000-seat indoor arena in Cherrywood, incorporating two Olympic-sized ice rinks, is designed to become the permanent home of Dublin’s first professional ice hockey franchise, while also operating as a national hub for winter sports, major concerts and large-scale corporate events.
Independent analysis by Anthony Foley (Dublin City University) shows the project will deliver €298m in annual economic benefit, attract 1.3m visitors per year, and generate 237,000+ annual hotel bed-nights, supporting thousands of jobs across tourism, hospitality and the wider economy.
